Тема урока: Давайте познакомимся с Новой Зеландией.   

( УМК С.Г. Тер-Минасовой)

 

Цель занятия: знакомство со страной изучаемого языка, актуализация страноведческого материала.

 

Задачи занятия:

Образовательные:

• сформировать первичные социокультурные и лингвострановедческие знания о стране изучаемого языка;

• сформировать речевые навыки, обеспечивающие познавательно-коммуникативные потребности учащихся.

Развивающие:

• развивать лингвострановедческие компетенции учащихся;

• развивать умение анализировать и сравнивать сведения и факты о родной и иноязычной культуре;

• развивать практические умения работы в паре.

Воспитательные:

• воспитывать сотрудничество в коллективной работе;

• воспитывать у детей понимание и уважения к иноязычной культуре.

 

Оборудование: ПК, проектор, презентация к уроку, видео,  карта Новой Зеландии, карточки для каждого ученика.

                                                 

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент. 

- Good morning boys and girls! I’m glad to see you!  Today we’re going to travel to a very unusual country where people have summer in winter and have winter in summer. Do you know what country it is?

You can look at the map on the board.

• It is New Zealand.

• You are right! And how do you think what we are going to speak about? And what will we learn about this country?

Предполагаемые ответы учащихся:

-  We are going to speak about geography of this country.

-  I think we’ll know where it is situated.

- We’ll learn about the capital city.

- About people who live there.

T: Yes, you are right and now we are ready to start our lesson.

 

2. Фонетическая зарядка. 

- I want you to look at the board. Can you read  the words from it? Read the first (second, third) column. Find the odd words in each column.

3. Активизация навыков чтения, умения работать с таблицами.  

 It’s the time to know some information about the country. Open your books p. 108 ex. 4.  Read sort information about the country and  say which facts are new for you.

Учащиеся, работая в парах, изучают информацию в таблице и на карте Новой Зеландии.

​4. Совершенствование навыков устной речи.  

Учащиеся отвечают на вопросы учителя, используя информацию в таблице.

- Where is New Zealand situated?

- What is the country washed by?

- What have you learnt about the climate of the country?

- What is the size of New Zealand?

-What is the capital of the country?

- What native people live in the country?

- What language do people speak?

- Who is the head of New Zealand?

-  What country symbols do you know?

 

5. ​Физкультминутка.  

Let’s have a rest. Stand up repeat after me and do some exercises with me.

(поднимаем руки вверх и вниз)

• Which is the way

(разводим руки в стороны)

To Wellington?

Where? Where?

• поворачиваемся в стороны)

Up in the air,

(смотрим по сторонам)

Close your eyes –

(закрываем глаза)

(открываем глаза)

 

6.  Просмотр видео ролика “Welcome to New Zealand” и работа по просмотренному.

 Boys and girls, I want you to watch a video about the capital of New Zealand Wellington. And then be ready to name some sights of this city.

 Учащиеся смотрят видеоролик, затем соотносят название  достопримечательностей с картинкой.  

 

7. Обобщение лингвострановедческого материала и активизация грамматических навыков по теме разделительные вопросы.

9. Рефлексия.

- I thank everybody for the lesson. You were very active. I hope this lesson was interesting for you and you have learned much new and useful information. Your answers were brilliant. But I have last task for you. As you know, we can reach New Zealand only by plane or by ship. You can find ships of different colours on your desks. Take the green one if you like the lesson and you understand everything. Take the yellow one if some information was difficult for you.  And take the red one if you understand nothing then put your ships on the map of New Zealand.
